Thanh Binh
About This Spot
Nestled just a stone’s throw from the bustle of Camden Market, Thanh Binh welcomes you with a warm, unpretentious embrace that feels like a quiet nod to Vietnamese family gatherings in the heart of London. As you step inside, the pace softens—a gentle hum of friendly chatter and the quiet clatter of dishes invites you to settle in, away from the city’s fast rhythms. The space is modest yet inviting, carrying a subtle modern touch while still feeling grounded and familiar.
Thanh Binh’s atmosphere is shaped by a sense of care and connection—there’s the friendly attentiveness of staff who make you feel part of their world, often sharing lighthearted moments that linger long after the meal. It’s a place where you might find yourself lingering over a bowl of pho, each spoonful unfolding layers of comforting, clean flavours that are neither rushed nor forced. Whether it's the subtly spiced broth, the satisfying bite of fresh spring rolls, or the gentle bitterness of jasmine tea, every element feels thoughtfully prepared, inviting you to savor rather than simply consume.
The menu is a quietly vibrant journey through Vietnamese cuisine, balancing familiar comforts with gentle surprises—from classic noodle soups to crisp, golden rice-paper rolls and the warming richness of spiced turmeric fish. The meal here isn’t about spectacle but about moments of genuine satisfaction that unfold naturally, especially on a chilly London evening when a hearty bowl feels like more than just food—it’s a small moment of home.
What truly sets Thanh Binh apart is its understated charm and the easy rapport that lingers between kitchen and table. It’s a neighborhood refuge where the simple joy of a well-made dish, shared with a friendly smile, quietly brightens your day.

I really enjoyed my chicken pho — the broth was tasty, comforting, and not greasy. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We ended up chatting with one of the guys there, and he gave me quite a few giggles. Nothing beats a warm bowl of pho on a chilly London night!

Lovely vietnamese food near Camden Market. Do not expect quick service if you’re coming in on a busy weekend. Otherwise, the staff are friendly and helpful and the pho is great.

Outstanding fresh Vietnamese food in Camden. Everything we ordered was so tasty and fresh. We even ordered more food because it was so good. I tried the veggie spring rolls, hot spicy rice with tofu and veg, salt pepper tofu, Vietnamese iced coffee and homemade lemonade. Everything was great and it seems like a family run restaurant which was very nice to see.

I've tried 10 Vietnamese restaurants in London and so far, this one's my favourite :D Bun bo hue was spicy and super flavoursome. The grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli bowl had a great charred flavour (which you don't always get) and the sauce was not too sweet! The price was so reasonable when I received the bill - really good value for money! And a cosy atmosphere of a family restaurant. I recommend this to all my family and friends when they ask for London restaurant suggestions.

Service was very good, the restaurant is clean and modern and the food was delicious. We had the papaya salad with tofu, pho ga and wonton soup, both had rich and tasty broths. Prices are very reasonable and the quantity of the food satisfying. Thank you!
